PRIVACY STATEMENT OF ANKA TAALSERVICES

ANKA Taalservices attaches great importance to your privacy. I will therefore process and use your data in a secure manner, entirely in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. This privacy statement explains what data I will collect about you and my reasons for doing so. It also sets out your rights in respect of such processing. Article 1  Who am I?

ANKA Taalservices is a sole trader, based at Wilhelminastraat 24 in (2291 TZ) Wateringen. I am listed in the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 30236361. I am the controller of your personal data.

 

Article 2  What data do I use?

This section provides an overview of the data I process about you, my reasons for doing so, the legal grounds on which I am allowed to process this data and the period during which I will retain this data.  
 
I process your name and address, date of birth, e-mail address, telephone number and other data (such as login details) which I need in order to provide you with the best possible service and facilitate performance of the agreement. I use this data to ensure that you are a satisfied customer during the term of our agreement. I will retain this data for up to seven years after our agreement.
 
For invoicing and accounting purposes I process your name, business name, invoice address, VAT number, client number, e-mail address, telephone number, bank details and outstanding balance. Without this data, I am unable to process your payment. I therefore need this data for the performance of the agreement. Pursuant to a statutory obligation imposed by the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration (Belastingdienst), I must retain this data for seven years. After this period, I will remove this data.
 
If you should have a complaint about my services, I will process your name, e-mail address and the substance of this complaint so as to achieve the best possible solution for you. I use this data in order to ensure optimum performance of the agreement. Data concerning complaints will be retained for up to one year after the settlement of the complaint.
 
ANKA Taalservices has a commercial interest in using some of your personal data for marketing purposes. I process your name, e-mail address and social media account for direct marketing and social media marketing. You have explicitly consented to such use. I will remove this data as soon as you unsubscribe from my newsletter or indicate that you no longer wish to hear from me.
 
This website is facilitated and optimised through the use of analytics services. I have a commercial interest in using your browsing behaviour and associated data in that they help me analyse my services and improve them where necessary. I will track your use of my website with Google Analytics and, in doing so, observe the retention periods prescribed by Google.  

 To enable reviews of my services, I process your name and the contents of your message. If you contact me via the website, I will ask for your name and e-mail address. When you post your message or submit the contact form, this data will become visible automatically. I will retain testimonials about my services until you ask me to remove them, and I may publish these testimonials on my website for commercial purposes. The data provided in a contact form will be removed as soon as the contact question has been resolved.

 

Article 3  How do I obtain this data?

I obtained this data from you as a client or contact person because you provided this data to me. Alternatively, I may have obtained your e-mail address or telephone number from one of my clients in order to offer you my services, or I may have access to your data in order to assist one of my clients in their business operations.

 

Article 4  What are your rights in respect of this data?

The General Data Protection Regulation has granted you a number of rights in relation to the personal data you have allowed me to process.

1. Inspection - You can request ANKA Taalservices at any time to grant you inspection of your data.
2. Alteration - If, based on this inspection, you wish your data to be adjusted, corrected, supplemented, restricted or removed, you can submit a request to this effect.
3. Objection - You can object against the processing of your data if the legal basis for such processing is the legitimate interest of ANKA Taalservices.
4. Data transfer - If you should wish to place your data with a different provider, ANKA Taalservices will provide your data in a structured and commonly used format that can be opened by commonly used digital systems.
5. Withdrawal - If I have processed data on the basis of your explicit consent, you will have the right to withdraw this consent. However, this may have implications for the services I can offer you.

If you want to exercise your rights, please send an e-mail to info@ankataalservices.nl. I will assess your request as quickly as possible. If I am unable to comply with your request, I will explain why I am rejecting your request.

 

Article 5  Who will receive your data?

ANKA Taalservices will not provide your data to third parties, unless this is necessary for its business operations or required pursuant to a statutory obligation. Your data may be disclosed to third-party processors for the performance of the agreement. I conclude data processing agreements with these processors in order to protect your privacy in the best possible way. I will not sell your data to third parties.

 

Article 6  Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information which are sent to your browser when you visit this website and are subsequently stored on the hard disk or in the memory of the device you used when visiting my website. These cookies will not damage your devices.
